Overview

The Direct Damage System (DDS) is a system that allows to deal any desired amount of damage to a unit within a single trigger cycle. It is very useful for things like damaging spells, poison/radiation/cold effects on a hero, etc. It is simpler than vHP (virtual Hit Points), but it does not offer a simple and elegant method of restoring HP.
